Stavropoleos Church
Stavropoleos Church is an Orthodox church built in Brancoveanu style in downtown Bucharest.
Stavropoleos Church is the architectural style of the brâncovenesc. Harmony volumes and quality stone and wood carvings have made it to be considered among the most important achievements of Brancovan art in the country.
It was built in 1724, during the second reign of Nicolae Romanian Land Mavrocordat by Archimandrite Ioanichie.
